Few people know this but when it comes to carpet cleaning the best way to maintain the look and quality is to have a biannual clean.  It is extremely important to have your carpets professionally cleaned between the change of the two most extreme seasons i.e. once during the spring and once during the autumn.  Many people think that it is not necessary to clean your carpets after the summer but this is not true.  Although it has been drier, meaning less water has been walked inside, the occupants will have spent more time outside collecting dry mud in the form of dust then bringing it into the house.  Then when the winter comes the wet conditions result in moisture being transferred into the house turning the dust in your carpet into mud.  Obviously the reasons for cleaning after the winter are more obvious hence the traditional spring clean.  So if you want to maintain the look and quality of your carpets biannual cleaning is the way to go!!
