Effective and safe gum removal products from Envirodri

The Envirodri Gum Remover works equally well with chewing gum and bubble gum on all surfaces, especially carpets. This formula (diluted 1 part Gum Remover to 4 parts water) breaks down the chewing gum.

Gum removal techniques

For best results perforate or scratch the surface of the gum with a sharp implement. Pour a small quantity of envirodri Gum Remover onto the gum and allow a few minutes for the Envirodri Gum Remover to take effect. Working from the outside towards the centre, scrape the softened gum from the carpet using a scraper. On certain commercial carpets with large quantities of gum, it is possible to use an Envirodri carpet cleaning machine with a stiff bristle brush to agitate and remove the softened gum (beware of damage to the carpet fibres by excessive aggressive brushing and scraping). Apply Dry Carpet Cleaner Microsponges onto the gum to also help absorb and remove the gum from the carpet or hard surface and remove any excess gum remover.
